As development agencies, we aim to mobilize local development dynamics in our country, to use regional resources and potentials in the best way, to ensure that development covers the whole country in a more balanced and holistic manner, and to ensure that our citizens' access to opportunities is as equal as possible.

In line with this purpose, we aim to develop local human and institutional capacity in our country, disseminate the culture of project preparation and implementation, create the necessary investment environment to develop the competitiveness of our regions at the global level, and include local needs and demands in investment planning. We carry out activities to reflect it in the most accurate way. In this context, by undertaking an interface function between central and local stakeholders, we aim to maximize the contribution of regional development to national development through local plans and strategy studies, while working on the implementation of national policies and targets at the local level, on the one hand.

As a new/unique institutional structure in terms of our country's public administration system, during all these studies, while trying to ensure local participation at the highest level in decision-making and implementation processes, we have implemented measures to ensure coordination with central institutions and organizations in the healthiest way.

As 26 development agencies operating in 26 level 2 regions across our country, we renew ourselves every day by developing new and innovative processes in order to be the solution partner of all our stakeholders in minimizing the economic and social development differences between our regions and increasing the competitiveness of our regions at the global level.
